The Cornelius Police Department announces the next session of the Citizens' Academy beginning on September 1, 2009. The goal of the Citizens' Police Academy is to increase our community's understanding of police services. The blocks of instruction are designed to help citizens gain a better understanding of police functions. The Academy also provides an opportunity for us to receive feedback so we can better serve the community.
